The COMP Cams 159 Engine Break-In Oil Additive is highly recommended for newly rebuilt engines with flat tappets. However, it should not be used with catalytic converters in OEM street vehicles. It is best used during initial engine break-in or for break-in of rings and flat tappet lifters and cams. One bottle is enough for a 5 quart oil capacity. For cam break-in, it can be added to oil that already contains zinc.
