CTEK Battery Chargers 56-865 Editorial Review
The CTEK US 0.8 is a maintenance charger designed for charging 12V lead-acid batteries up to 32Ah found in motorcycles, jet skis, ATVs and lawn mowers. Although it can maintain a fully charged battery, it would take a long time to charge a weak car battery, thus requiring a more robust charger. It has a unique Comfort Connect System but is compatible with SAE connectors. The charger has a 75" electrical cord and is suitable for all types of lead-acid batteries including AGM, but it does not have a specific AGM charging mode. The CTEK charger is solidly built and easy to use. The on-board indicators show the battery's charge status, and its versatility enables it to recharge old batteries to last longer. Those who have undergone a switch cleaning every few years have given it positive feedback. Many users appreciate the CTEK splatter-proof feature, although it is not entirely invulnerable to water damage. It has an average rating of 4.8 out of 5, with 92% of users giving it 5 stars.
