The TITAN GREAT OUTDOORS Copper Outdoor Fire Pit is a 40-inch solid steel base fire pit with a 39-inch wide copper bowl that is 8 inches deep featuring a 3.25-inch wide lip. The Copper Bowl is .8 mm thick, and is accompanied by a solid 26.25 inch wide x 0.75 inch thick metal grate at 5 inches above the bottom, and the base is a little on the heavy side. The entire bowl gets hot when a fire is burning and is not recommended for use on a wood deck due to the risk of ember landing on it. There is uncertainty about converting it for use with a natural gas burner. Customers can order 36-inch spark screens as a better fit than a 40-inch spark screen, with dimensions differing by each customer. Reviews varied regarding paint chipping and oxidation of the fire grate after the first use, thinness of the copper bowl, and rust on previous fire-pit bowls.
