Craig DVD Players CVD401a Editorial Review
The CVD512a is a small inexpensive DVD player that is relatively easy to set up but has limited features. It does not have an optical out port and no built-in speakers, so sound and video come through RCA cables to the television. It has an audio jack so that it can be hooked up to a stereo; users who have used it for this purpose have reported success. There is also an RCA jack included in the package so it can be used on standard flat-screen TVs without needing any additional cables. The player can play mp3 CDs, but it is important to note that there is a learning curve when it comes to figuring out how to operate it properly. Unfortunately, the overall customer review of the product seems pretty poor. The DVD player tends to malfunction often and frequently breaks down after only a few weeks or months of use in many instances. It has been noted that the sound and picture quality of the device are not very impressive, and some reviews mention that the product makes a terrible loud noise right from the start when in use. Ejecting DVDs is also a problem; some users report having to destroy the entire product to get their DVD out. However, a few of the customers have been happy with their purchase and say they have had no issues. The refund policy seems to be adequate, and returns for this product are uncomplicated.
