Motorcraft Backup Light Switch Editorial Review
Motorcraft SW6396 Backup Light Switch is designed for optimal performance and durability, boasting an ON-OFF operation mode and a normally open contact type. Users have praised its effectiveness in restoring functionality to reverse lights, especially in older vehicles like the 1995 Thunderbird. Its panel mount and push button actuator design facilitate easy access once installed, although the installation process can be challenging due to tight spaces, as experienced by some users. Tips from others include using specific tools like a 7/8-inch socket wrench to ease replacement. The switch's compatibility with Ford vehicles makes it a solid choice for many truck and car owners.
