The Befenybay Ball Screw Linear Actuator is an impressive addition to your CNC machine. With a load capacity far greater than the NEMA 17 Stepper motor, this actuator is designed to last for a long time. While it comes with a light coating of oil, a light lubricating oil such as 3 in one is adequate. A white lithium grease would also work but wiping off most of it is advisable. The actuator comes already assembled and can easily be installed vertically. The load capacity is up to 15kg. The M4 holes on the stage portion have a thread pitch of 0.7mm. To achieve maximum speed/travel for the ball screw, a good rule of thumb to calculate the power supply voltage is Vps = 32 x sqrt(mH). While the actuator is well-designed and durable, there are some things to note. The packaging is poor and some screws including the stepper motor are loose and need to be tightened. The wiring may not match existing wiring, and extra mounting gear may need to be purchased for the anti-backlash nut. Additionally, all mounting threads are 4mm which may be too small for some. Overall, the Befenybay Ball Screw Linear Actuator is a good quality product with great value. However, potential buyers should take note of the concerns above.
