Regarding the light bar, the arm would be six inches in front of the object being lit, and it does not rotate to adjust the light's direction. Also, the light is not dimmable. Customers who purchased this light for different purposes gave mixed reviews regarding the product's brightness. Some customers were disappointed as they expected the light to be brighter, while others appreciated the soothing warm and nicely tinted light from the product.
