Mechanics Editorial Review
The "Introduction to Classical Mechanics: With Problems and Solutions 1st Edition" is an incredibly well-written book with clear explanations and superb problem sets that build student knowledge providing thorough solutions afterward. It is a highly recommended book for third-year physics mechanics classes. However, it is not for first-year physics students or first-year honors physics students. The book is not lacking information on Hamiltonian, non-linear, chaos etc., but it is missing information on the related Hamiltonian and its canonical transformations which are more complex. The book is full of unusual and engaging problems which are genuinely thought-provoking. It is perfect for undergraduates, while also being helpful for graduate students to get a deeper understanding of the concepts. The only negative feedback concerns the shipping, printing, or restricted South Asia edition which is not authorized to be circulated outside territories. Moreover, some customers wished that there were problems on Hamiltonian mechanics.
