These Adirondack chairs are made out of synthetic plastic material which makes them incredibly sturdy and has a weight capacity of around 250-300 pounds. These chairs are great for use around a pool as they are waterproof and perfect for sunbathing. The top plastic arm of the chair is about 1" thick and there is added girth from the supporting pieces beneath making them very comfortable. Assembly of the chair can take time, the Allen wrench supplied is difficult to use and the pre-drilled holes were tight, requiring power tools to complete.
