The Audient Audio Interface iD22 has received mixed reviews from customers. Many customers were initially satisfied with its clear sound and awesome preamps, but after about two years, they began experiencing periodic audio popping and crackling. Others reported similar issues with the inputs and outputs not being recognized by applications or not transmitting sound when used with other user accounts on the same machine. The tech support was also found to be poor by some users. One customer reported that the phantom power wasn't working, rendering the device useless. Another customer reported that the outputs started crackling and hissing randomly, and despite confirmed hardware issues, Audient did nothing but refer them to a repair center at their own cost. However, some customers had a positive experience with the Audient Audio Interface iD22. One customer found it incredible for voice work, and another built their voiceover studio around its flexible routing, inputs, and outputs. However, both of these customers experienced issues with the device after about 18 months, as it stopped working or had a significant drop in phantom power output.
