Pertronix Cap & Rotor Kit D604604 Editorial Review
The Pertronix D604604 Cap and Rotor Kit for Cast Distributor is specifically designed for a 4-cylinder VW engine. It is not compatible with other vehicle models such as a 1985 VW Vanagon, 1988 4-cylinder Ford industrial engine, or a 1990 Volvo 240. It is important to know the distributor type to determine if the parts would fit. Some customers have reported issues with the distributor cap not seating properly on the distributor, suggesting it may be too narrow at the base. However, other customers have found that the kit works great on their 64 VW Bug, fits well on their German 009 distributor, and includes good quality components. One customer had to return the product as it was initially delivered broken. Overall, the Pertronix D604604 Cap and Rotor Kit for Cast Distributor receives mixed reviews. While some customers have had success with it, others have experienced difficulties with installation or received defective products.
