Its build is good and it can handle heavy usage. However, it is a little heavier and may take a Considerable amount of time to drill through thick, high strength concrete. Some customers experienced issues such as smoking, smelling like it was burning out, and the drill not working after only a few holes were drilled. A button for the trigger was removed and replaced with a dummy button. Some of these incidents were reported to Bosch customer service. Overall, the Bosch 1191VSRK hammer drill is an excellent product, even for tradesmen, that gets the job done without getting hot.
