The Kill or Be Killed Volume 3 collects issues 11 through 14 of the series and is the penultimate book for Kill or Be Killed. The protagonist's shift from reluctant killer to full-on vigilante is the highlight of the book. This volume felt like it was read in 5 minutes. Dylan resolved some things with himself, with Kira, and the Russian mob. The writing from Ed Brubaker is amazing. The story builds in such a way that it is difficult to stop reading. Although the story may end too fast, the artwork is so good that you will want to linger on it. The details, like loading the sawed-off shotgun, are accurately depicted. One review said, "One of my favorite books! Image comics has been publishing great Indy stuff!" Another said, "Superb book."
