The tubing is highly flexible, although it will take a day or two for it to release tension after you have placed it and routed it as necessary. When you buy it, you can get the sample from Home Depot, as stated by one of the customer reviews. The hose has a 1/2 inch inside diameter, and the outside diameter is roughly equal to 3/4 inches. It is not pre-punched and does not have any holes in it, as a customer who reviewed the product humorously stated, unless you have a mischievous neighbor who pokes holes just to annoy you. Regarding fittings, a Raindrip Hose End Plug with a Plastic Cap 1/2 " Tubing 1/2 " is a great fit, according to one of the reviews. You can also use a 1/2 " Figure 8 End Cap Plug or even tie a knot at the hose end to serve as an end cap fitting.
