PFERD File Handles 11132 Editorial Review
The PFERD 11132 Plastic File Handle for 8-10 Files seems to have mixed reviews from customers. Some customers praise the product, stating that it is the best file handle they have used and that they prefer it over wooden handles. They appreciate the comfortable grip and the deep grooves that allow for sweaty palms to dry. Additionally, customers mention that the handle is easy to put on and that it makes a significant difference in using a file. They also Consider the price to be an exceptional value. However, not all customers are satisfied with the product. One customer mentions that they tried installing a lathe file and it cracked. Another customer finds the handle to be too small for comfortable use, especially for those with small hands. Additionally, this customer points out that the handle may not hold up well if used on multiple files, as it might wear out quickly. One customer also expresses disappointment with the fit of the handle on different file tangs. They had difficulty fitting the handle onto certain file tangs, even with the use of a vice and mallet. The customer suggests that the issue could potentially be resolved by drilling out the handles further, but they believe this should not have been necessary in the first place. They also mention that the wide-spaced holes in the handle may be uncomfortable after extended use, especially for metal working tasks. In summary, the PFERD 11132 Plastic File Handle for 8-10 Files has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers appreciate the comfortable grip and value for money, others report issues with the fit and durability of the handle, as well as its size and comfort for prolonged use.
