Anime Editorial Review

Weathering with You is a heartwarming yet realistic story about the dangers of being a minor and homeless in a big city like Tokyo. It is a story about a boy and a girl's supernatural encounter which changes the boy's life. It reveals how much weather can shape people's moods and attitudes as well as the inherent selfishness of people. The animation is lovely, the sound captivating and the English dubbing is fairly good. The pace of the story is a little slow but the movie is perfect for pre and young teens, especially for girls.
