PolarPro Skylight & UV Filters MVC-UV Editorial Review
The PolarPro UV Filter designed for the DJI Mavic Pro and Mavic Platinum appears to have mixed reviews from customers, particularly in regard to its performance and compatibility with the drone's gimbal system. Many users appreciate the lightweight design and snug fit of the filter, noting that it can be left on without interfering with the gimbal's startup calibration. This feature is especially highlighted as beneficial for maintaining the drone's functionality during operation. However, several customers reported issues with the filter causing malfunctions or errors, such as "gimbal motor overload" messages. These problems seem to stem from either variations in manufacturing quality or potentially using older stock. A few users experienced that the filter scratched the gimbal parts during initialization, which raises questions about its overall compatibility with the drone system. While the initial reception of the filter was positive, the highlighted issues regarding gimbal interference and manufacturing quality have led to a number of returns, indicating that customers may want to be cautious when purchasing this accessory. **
