répondre: I believe it will fit. Check the online catalog to be certain. You will also need the small retainer cap at the handle end of the cable. It is available locally. -

Is the end of this cable oval or oblong?
répondre: Depends.... originally it was oblong, but has since been changed to oval. In speaking with a Deere service person this year they stated that the lever your hand goes on changed their attachment process. So you could get an updated lever, or get crafty with some platinum wire ties and make it work pretty easily. -

Buy the John Deere Original Equipment Lever #GX22026 and John Deere Original Equipment Nut #GX10434.nBuy the nut here https://www.greenfarmparts.com/John-Deere-Nut-GX10434-p/gx10434.htmnThe new lever has a different angle and therefore less fatigue while using the mower.nWhen possible, buy off season - it's cheaper.
