DVD Editorial Review
Gantz: The Complete Series is an enthralling set that compiles all 26 episodes across four disks, presenting a captivating anime experience packed with action, dark themes, and complex characters. Many viewers have praised it as one of the best anime ever, appreciating the engaging story and emotional rollercoaster it provides. The anime adapts the original manga quite faithfully for the first 21 episodes, while the last 5 episodes diverge significantly, leading some fans to feel disappointed. Notably, the mature content makes it suitable for older audiences, thus making it a hit among teens as well. Overall, Gantz continues to resonate with fans, especially those familiar with the franchise's film adaptations.
