QUIK LOK Stands M-91BK Editorial Review

The QUIK LOK Keyboard Stand, model M-91BK, has garnered positive attention from customers for its lightweight design and robust stability, making it an appealing option for musicians. Users appreciate its shallow depth of 17 inches, which allows for closer placement against walls compared to other bulkier stands. The structure is simple to assemble and fold, providing convenience for gigging musicians. One of the standout features of this stand is its second tier, praised for its sturdy Construction that securely supports heavier keyboards, such as the Alesis Andromeda, instilling confidence in users who worry about the stability of expensive equipment. However, while the second tier is designed for full-sized keyboards, it poses some installation challenges, as it can obstruct access to the ports on the rear of the first tier synth. This can sometimes necessitate the use of right-angle cables or creative mounting solutions for smaller instruments. Despite small drawbacks, such as the absence of a lip on the first tier which could lead to accidental slips, and the rubber pads not being as grippy as expected, the overall reception of the QUIK LOK stand is favorable. Many musicians express satisfaction with the build quality, aesthetics, and functionality, often recommending it for studio and live performance settings alike. **
