- SLR, Selle Italia’s timeless “super light racing” group of saddles, is a longstanding benchmark of excellence, comfort, and lightness. These high-performance, Italian-made racing saddles are mostly flat, with a subtle cradle at the back to hold the rider in the prime sitting position. Launched in 2000, they created an immediate sensation and fostered legions of new Selle Italia fans. Today’s iconic and lightweight SLR family includes 21 unique saddles for different disciplines, genders, and riding preferences. The Selle Italia SLR Boost Lady Superflow bicycle saddle, new in 2020, brings women’s-specific padding placement to the popular SLR chassis. This 202-gram saddle has lightweight but strong TI 316 rails and an expertly placed layer of vibration-dampening light gel padding. In Selle Italia nomenclature, “Boost” means the saddle is short nosed compared to traditional saddles, a modification that improves pedaling ergonomics, rider maneuverability, comfort, and performance. The SLR Boost Lady Superflow has a large central “Superflow” cut-out that relieves pressure and enhances comfort and a tough Fibra-Tek cover in black. It is offered in two sizes: idmatch S3 and L3.
