Odyssey Brake Levers B-272-BK Editorial Review

The Odyssey Monolever M2 Medium Brake Lever has garnered enthusiastic feedback from users, particularly those who favor a reliable performance on BMX bikes equipped with taller handlebars. Riders have expressed satisfaction with its performance, particularly noting that it works excellently on 10-inch rise bars. Many users have experienced a marked improvement in braking power and a crisp setup when using a gyro, positioning this brake lever as a preferred choice among BMX enthusiasts. However, a common concern has emerged regarding the brake cable length. Several users have pointed out that the included cable is only 400mm, which is inadequate for handlebars taller than 8.75 inches. This limitation could deter potential buyers with higher setups, as there is currently no option for a longer cable directly from the manufacturer. Overall, the Odyssey Monolever M2 is praised for its performance, yet customers recommend an improvement in cable length options to accommodate a wider range of handlebar styles. **
