répondre: The center pin is round while the others are flat. This is the standard RV style that comes on many pickup trucks with factory mounted hitches. -

How do you test for 12V power to trailer (12V) and Electric brakes (Bk) with this? The others are self-intuitive.
répondre: 1 = LT = Left Turn 2 = TM = Tail Light/Marker Light 3 = RT = Right Turn 4 = 12V = 12V Aux Power 5 = BR = 12V Brake 6 = BU = Back Up Light Note: This testor will only test the output from the truck. To determine the out put of an aux battery on a trailer you will need an inexpensive multi-meter. -

7-way 12 volt trailer wiring circuit of 2018 ford expedition not active pin 4 charge line. any idea why? is this just a ford deal?
répondre: If Pin 4 is the 12 volt line then the issue is with how some fords are set up. My 2019 F150 will only have the 12 volt line active if I get it truck, press brake for a few seconds, get out quick and close driver door with engine running, keys inside truck and then go back and hook up trailer. IF the driver door is open or the keys are in your pocket , after a couple seconds the 12 volt power gets disconnected. Its NUTS!! -

The led test lights are upside down. can i remove the two end cap screws and spin it 180 degrees so the indicator lights are facing up?
répondre: I have not tried it, however it should work if the leads are long enough. If not, try spinning the other end (truck end).
