Romana's Pilates - Introduction to Pilates Matwork

Romana's Pilates - Introduction to Pilates Matwork is a DVD that aims to introduce viewers to the basics of Pilates matwork. The video features Romana, a master in the field, who provides instruction and guidance throughout the exercises. One of the standout aspects of this DVD is the opportunity to learn from someone who actually practiced with Joseph Pilates, the creator of Pilates. This adds a level of authenticity and credibility to the instruction provided. The exercises are well-executed and follow the traditional Pilates method, making it a valuable resource for both beginners and experienced practitioners. However, some viewers may find that there is more documentary content than actual exercise footage. While this can be interesting and informative, it might leave those looking for a more workout-focused experience feeling unsatisfied. Additionally, some may feel that the pace of the exercises is quite fast, which could make it challenging for beginners to keep up. Overall, Romana's Pilates - Introduction to Pilates Matwork offers a chance to learn from a master and experience the traditional Pilates method. While the balance between documentary and exercise content might not appeal to everyone, the DVD is still a valuable resource for those looking to deepen their understanding and practice of Pilates.
