The Rotring Isograph Liquid Ink is a water-soluble ink that is only meant to be used with the Isograph line of pens. The ink is not waterproof and is not suitable for use with non-Isograph technical pens or alcohol markers. The ink is good for refilling brush pens though. It has a shelf life of two years from the date of purchase and can be stored at room temperature. While some customers found the ink to be too thick and gloppy, others reported that the ink was fresh and worked well with their pens. However, some customers found that the ink did not flow well and came out patchy, despite using it with the Isograph pens.
