This Roundhouse Turntable Combo is a solid and well-made train station that fits well with several different wooden train tracks such as KidKraft and Melissa and Doug. The roundhouse has a height of 6.25 inches and a length of 8.75 inches. However, trains with a wheelbase longer than 3.25 inches are not suitable for the turntable, and a 4.5-inch train may fit inside the roundhouse but with the door not closed. The door of the shed does not come off, it just swings open and closes. Customers expressed satisfaction with the product's sturdiness. One mentioned it could last several generations of children. Many customers' children enjoyed playing with the roundhouse, and one could play for hours enhancing creativity and imagination. However, one customer noted their son got frustrated by the doors, and it was painful to trip over. The roundhouse is a bit pricey, and the extra three pieces on top are cute but useless and make storage hard. Also, there is a customer review where the turning wheel breaks within one day of using it. Finally, some customers received only one piece of the order and had to return it for a refund.
