The TWSBI Eco Extra Fine Fountain Pen is a high-quality pen that is perfect for everyday use. The pen is bulkier and looks slightly cheaper than other TWSBI pens but its writing is as good as any of them. The pen is an excellent value and there is no better refillable pen for the money. The built-in piston fill mechanism holds much ink and is easy to fill. It is easy to see the ink in the pen, both the color and the remaining amount. However, the cap can chip quite easily around the top if dropped. Some customers have experienced issues with ink not flowing momentarily when they put the pen to the page. The nib is scratchy when brand new, especially the EF nib. However, the EF nib became smoother after some use and there was no difference between the EF and the Fine nibs. There are replacement nibs available but make sure to check the nib size, as the nibs are labeled with the size. The pen is made by a Taiwanese company, TWSBI, which stands behind its product and will help customers resolve any issues.
