Mother Earth Products Freeze-Dried Food SG_B007C7VQ5M_US Editorial Review
Mother Earth Products Zucchini received mixed reviews from customers. Some reviewers found it useful for making homemade soups, bread, and muffins, or for bulking up meals and adding vitamins and minerals. Others complained about the texture, flavor, and small size of the dried pieces, which were compared to wood chips, dried apples, or tough skins. Some people said the zucchini didn't rehydrate well or that the skins always remained hard. The shelf-life of the product was contested, with some saying that if it was kept in a well-sealed container and in a cool and dry place, it could last up to five years, while others had difficulty storing it for over two years. Some customers complained about the packaging, while others found it easy to use for soups without cutting or dicing. A few reviewers mentioned the lack of seasoning on the dehydrated slices, wishing that garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper were added to them. However, the product was also praised for being neutral in taste, reminding some of regular squash, and rehydrating well in dishes like zucchini bread or soup. Overall, while customers had mixed experiences with the product, it was appreciated as a convenient and nutritious alternative to fresh or frozen zucchinis.
