The Clarke Pennywhistle Sweetone C-tuning black is a reasonably priced tinwhistle that produces a pleasant sound. It comes with a fingering chart and a few practice ditties which makes it easier for beginners to start playing. The low notes have a subtle and pleasant airy sound to them. However, it may require a bit of getting used to the fingering, especially for the lowest hole, which is a bit far from the other holes, requiring slight stretching of the ring finger. Although some customers experienced disappointment with the product, such as poor quality, high note control, and out of tune arrangement.
