They are easy to install, as long as you follow the instructions provided by previous buyers. It is recommended to use two separate blocks at a time, and then place them on either side of the pedal. Stretch the rubber strap over the blocks and around the pedal to secure the blocks firmly in place. Despite the different opinions on whether they work or not, there are always some factors that will determine whether the blocks are suitable for your needs or not. That being said, the blocks should work fine with most types of platform pedals, except for clipless pedals.
