Roller Derby All Toys & Games Editorial Review
The Roller Derby STR Seven Men’s Roller Skate has received a mix of reviews, highlighting its affordability and comfort, paired with some concerns around durability and suitability for advanced skating. Many users appreciate the fit and comfort of the skates, noting that they are true to size and can be worn with both thin and thick socks. The soft interior provides good cushioning, while the durable exterior suggests they can withstand regular use. Customers laud the wheels for their slickness and grip, though some warn that they might not be ideal for beginners due to their speed. Several reviewers pointed out that the quality is commendable for a product priced under $50, providing a surprising amount of performance and build quality for the cost. However, more experienced roller derby players are skeptical about the skates' longevity, arguing that they may not be robust enough to endure the rigors of competitive play. Complaints were raised about minor issues like overly long laces and a need for better wheel performance right out of the box, with some suggestions for adding ball bearing oil. Overall, the STR Seven skates are seen as a solid choice for recreational use or for casual skaters, particularly given their comfort and size range, though they may not suit those seeking professional-grade equipment. **
