ISOtunes Free Aware Hearing Protection earbuds use audio passthrough technology to amplify sounds from the environment while blocking out noise above 85dB. The Aware feature allows you to pick up outside sounds and amplify them, which can be turned off with separate volume controls. The earbuds offer 25dB of passive noise isolation. The earbuds are connected via Bluetooth for easy use with mobile devices. The earbuds have a battery life that lasts a full workday, and the carry case has enough power to charge them five times. Overall, customers praised the noise reduction and battery life, but some have noted issues with the quality of the product. The Aware technology needs work and amplifies ambient noise from fans and wind, making it sound like you're under a waterfall. The sound quality is not audiophile-grade, but not terrible. The passthrough sound is not accurate; and there is Constant white noise when no audio is playing. Using touch controls is hard, and it does not remember the pass-through sound level selected upon power-on. Customers say the product is not ready for the market and incomplete.
