The Scepter 10511 Under Seat Portable Fuel Tank is a 6-gallon tank manufactured by Scepter Manufacturer. It doesn't have a low-point drain and is approved for gas; however, users can use it for diesel if they desire. The fuel connector is next to the fuel gauge, and one can connect the Moeller Marine Fuel Tank NPT Connector and Moeller Marine Fuel Line Engine and Tank Barb Conncector to it. The measurements of the tank are 10.75" height including cap x 18.1" wide x 24.3" long. It might not fit in the back of a johnboat if it is a single-sized boat. Most customers said it was the perfect size for their boat and was working very well. Yet, others complained that it had a pinhole leak in the seam tank and wasn't built well enough. The tank has encountered issues with the vent system, and many customers have had to open the lid to let pressure out or put pressure in.
