Horror Editorial Review

An avid admirer of the film Shocker praised the movie as being everything they expected and greatly enjoyable. The film stars Mitch Pileggi as a TV repairman, who, after being sentenced to death, makes a deal with the devil and returns as electricity to seek revenge. The movie was appreciated as a great Wes Craven film. However, another viewer found the movie to be disappointing as it shifted from being a good thriller in the first part to a more comedic tone in the second half, which they felt was excessive. Additionally, some customers expressed receiving different DVD cases than what was pictured in the sale offer. Overall, opinions on Shocker vary, with some viewers enjoying it for its Wes Craven-esque style and others feeling let down by the shift in tone and expectations of a horror movie. **
