What are ODI Longneck Grips made from?

ODI Longneck Grips are crafted from a soft yet durable rubber compound that provides excellent traction and comfort. This material ensures a reliable grip, reducing slippage during use. The innovative design also allows for optimal absorption of vibrations, which is particularly beneficial for users who spend long hours riding. Riders of all levels appreciate the difference in control and comfort, making these grips ideal for mountain biking, BMX, or casual cycling.

What size handlebars are compatible with ODI Longneck Grips?

ODI Longneck Grips are designed to fit standard handlebars with a diameter of 22mm. This compatibility makes them an excellent choice for a wide range of bikes, including BMX and mountain bikes. When replacing grips, it's essential to ensure that the inner diameter matches your handlebars to achieve a snug fit. This suitable fit enhances control and comfort, particularly for riders who tackle challenging trails or perform tricks.

How do I install ODI Longneck Grips?

To install ODI Longneck Grips, start by removing your old grips. Then, clean the handlebar thoroughly to remove residue. Apply a small amount of grip adhesive or rubbing alcohol to the handlebar for assistance in sliding the new grips on. Slide the grips onto the handlebars until they are securely in place. Proper installation ensures that they won't slip during use, maximizing performance while riding, especially in intense scenarios.

Are ODI Longneck Grips suitable for all weather conditions?

Yes, ODI Longneck Grips are designed to withstand various weather conditions. Their material offers reliable grip even in wet environments, helping to maintain control. This feature is particularly useful for riders who traverse diverse terrains or who ride in inclement weather. Whether you are mountain biking through muddy trails or commuting in rainy conditions, these grips will consistently provide a comfortable, secure hold.

What colors are available for ODI Longneck Grips?

ODI Longneck Grips are available in several colors, including black, blue, red, and more, allowing riders to customize their bikes to match their personal style. What is the lifespan of ODI Longneck Grips?

The lifespan of ODI Longneck Grips varies based on usage and riding conditions. However, when used under normal riding circumstances, they can last for an extended period while maintaining their performance. Riders who frequently engage in aggressive trails or tricks might note quicker wear but can easily replace grips to maintain optimal control. Regular maintenance, like cleaning, can also extend their durability.

Can I use ODI Longneck Grips for BMX bikes?

The soft rubber provides maximum control during tricks and stunts, which is vital for BMX performance. Whether you're hitting the skate park or racing through the streets, these grips enhance your riding experience significantly.

Are ODI Longneck Grips compatible with bikes with thicker handlebars?
