Format: DVD DVD Editorial Review
The Dinosaur Project [DVD] by Natasha Loring offers an adventurous foray into the jungle, showcasing a father-son relationship challenged by ego and unrecognized talent. The story follows a renowned filmmaker and his son, who sneak onto a dinosaur expedition in the Congo, leading to thrilling encounters that blend tension and emotional depth. With CGI that impresses and a character-driven plot where the son seeks his father's approval while navigating the chaos of their unexpected journey, it's a family-friendly film devoid of modern politics, making it a refreshing escape. Critics have noted its standing as a notable contender in the found footage genre, akin to The Blair Witch Project, complimenting its visual effects and storytelling throughout its runtime of about an hour and a half.
