Audio-Technica Over-Ear Headphones Editorial Review

Audio-Technica ATH-R70x Professional Open-Back Reference Headphones Black are designed for studio environments, providing an immersive listening experience that's both detailed and neutral. The headphones are lightweight and feature a comfortable 3D-wing headband that distributes weight evenly, making them ideal for long listening sessions without fatigue. They shine in vocal clarity and have a wide soundstage, with a tonal balance that suits various genres, from classical to electronic. Users noted the need for a good DAC/Amp setup due to their high impedance of 470 ohms, emphasizing their studio-grade nature while making them less suitable for portable use. Overall, they offer excellent sound quality with a unique design that stands out.
