Many players use it to upgrade their existing instruments for live performances or studio recordings, making it a great choice regardless of your setup.

How do I install the OBP-1 Onboard Preamp in my instrument?

Installing the OBP-1 requires some knowledge of your instrument's electronics. Typically, it involves soldering connections to the existing pickups and output jack. The OBP-1 kit usually comes with detailed instructions, making it more accessible for those comfortable with basic soldering. If you're unfamiliar with installation, it's advisable to seek a qualified technician. Once installed, you'll notice an immediate enhancement in tonal clarity, especially during high-volume playing situations, making it a worthwhile investment for serious musicians.
