répondre: That’s going to be pretty hard on your drill. I’d do two things: rent a corded 1/2” drill. Rent or buy a 6” diamond grit hole saw. Unless it’s soft brick, I would question how well this blade would work. -

Can it cut into hardiplank?
répondre: Yes. -

Can this hole saw cut thru metal? how thick?
répondre: No, in fact, that would be dangerous as it will bite and kick back violently. Consider this a masonry saw. -

répondre: You should never use a hole saw without a pilot guide bit. -

Can I use the diablo arbor system with this saw or do I need the spyder arbor system?
répondre: I used a regular arbor from another hole saw I had. There was nothing different about the spyder. -

Does the holesaw cut a clean hole in plywood?
répondre: YES -

Will it cut through 4” concrete?
répondre: No, this is a carbide bit. You would need a diamond bit. This one is not made for concrete. -

Will this work for plaster?
répondre: Yes, we have drilled 4 holes in plaster. Bit looks OK, but does not tell how many could be drilled. -

répondre: No.
