The GY 6.35 Socket Base Short model has a 3000K temperature, 550 Lumens, and is dimmable, making it a great replacement for any halogen bulb. Additionally, the module has been rated safe for damp locations. It is ideal for adequately lighting any area that needs illumination. However, before purchasing the product, ensure to contact Tech Lighting to be sure it is a suitable substitute. Customer Feedback: - The replacement bulbs do not install into the socket. - The color is different from the old lamp, and it is not sold in other stores. - The bi-pin connection on this bulb is the same as the original bulb and is easy to install. - The bulb's shape is different from what the customer had before, but it works just as bright as the other bulbs. - Some customers are not able to get the bulbs to work at full voltage - they only work when the dimmer is turned on at the lowest level and raised halfway. - The LED bulb looks exactly like the halogen and dims down pretty far, but it is important to replace the dimmer with one compatible with LED lights.
