    répondre: Yes, everything works as it is supposed to. Just make sure you leave it in the packaging when taking it to the dealer. They need to scan the barcode to program it and will only do so if it is factory original.
  • question: I live about a 3-hour drive from a Volvo dealer Is there no way to send them the Fob with all the info they need for programming?

    répondre: No, the fob needs to be programmed WITH the vehicle, so you cannot just send them the fob to program.
  • question: Does this come with codes?

    répondre: No, codes are not included. The local Volvo Dealer will not encode it. They will gladly sell you a new one, all coded correctly, however.
  • question: Does this key include everything to programming the Volvo dealer? Or can't include the pin/serial #?

    répondre: The package has the required pin number. To program the key, the dealer will charge you labor + key software package. Also, note that you can program more than one key during the same session (i.e. pay for the software once and add 2 keys).
