Nutritionist's Take
The 365 by Whole Foods Market Saw Palmetto supplement contains standardized extract from the berries of the Saw Palmetto plant (Serenoa repens), which is commonly used for its potential benefits in supporting prostate health, particularly in middle-aged and older men. Nutritionists often commend its possible efficacy in alleviating symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). That said, quality ingredients are key; Whole Foods Market is known for upholding high sourcing standards, adding to the trustworthiness of this product. However, potential drawbacks include possible side effects like digestive discomfort and the need for caution amongst individuals on anticoagulant medications. Moreover, while the health claims associated with Saw Palmetto are promising, more robust clinical studies are needed to solidify these claims. It is generally considered suitable for those looking for natural support in prostate health, but not everyone may experience the same level of benefit.
365 by Whole Foods Market Saw Palmetto Editorial Review
365 by Whole Foods Market, Saw Palmetto, 60 Count is a vegan supplement that combines pure herbal saw palmetto with extract in a single 450mg capsule. Known for its effectiveness in reducing DHT, it is praised for its synergy with other hair supplements and its convenience of taking just one capsule one or two times daily. Many users report satisfaction in including these capsules in their health regimen for improved self-esteem and maintenance of hair. Users appreciate that these capsules are easy to swallow and have no taste, highlighting the brand's trusted reputation for quality. However, some raised concerns regarding the absence of transparency about the sourcing and testing of ingredients, suggesting buyers do thorough research before choosing this product.
