Overall, the Blue Ox BX8870 KarGard Protective Shield has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers have found it to be a sturdy and effective shield for their towed vehicles, others have experienced issues with its Construction and functionality. One common praise for the product is its durability. Customers have complimented the beefy and heavy brackets used in the Construction of the shield, which provides a sense of security and protection against rocks and debris. Additionally, some customers have mentioned that the shield effectively covers the front fenders and hood of their vehicles, preventing damage. However, there have been several complaints regarding the Construction and quality control of the product. Some customers have reported receiving damaged parts, which required returns and replacements. Others have experienced broken brackets due to poor welds, raising concerns about the overall quality of the product. Another point of contention is the ease of installation and use. While some customers have found the instructions to be clear and the assembly process straightforward, others have struggled with it. Some have even found the shield to be awkward and difficult to remove and store when not in use. In conclusion, the Blue Ox BX8870 KarGard Protective Shield has both positive and negative aspects. It provides a durable and effective shield for towed vehicles, but there have been issues with Construction and ease of use. Customers should carefully Consider these factors before purchasing the product.
