j5create USB Hubs Editorial Review
** j5create Screen Mouse Keyboard File Sharing Hub** The j5create ScreenMouseKeyboardFile Sharing Hub, also known as the Wormhole Switch, presents an innovative solution for users seeking to streamline their workflow across multiple PCs. With the ability to share input devices and transfer files, it offers a degree of convenience appreciated by many. The hardware itself is well-Constructed and aesthetically pleasing, hinting at quality. Users have praised the ease of connection, with a straightforward setup that allows for quick integration into a multi-computer setup. However, this praise is somewhat overshadowed by significant concerns relating to the accompanying software, which appears to be in a developmental limbo, riddled with bugs and stability issues. Many users have expressed frustration with having to repeatedly install and restart the software, which detracts from the overall experience. Performance-wise, while the device purports to offer faster transfer speeds via USB 3.0, users have reported that it does not outpace traditional Gigabit switches or even high-speed flash drives when it comes to transferring large multi-GB files. Additionally, users have noted lag in mouse movements and related functionality, which compromises the intended user experience. While the device serves its purpose for basic KVM tasks, its effectiveness seems contingent on the refinement of its software. In conclusion, while the j5create Wormhole Switch KVM Hub has an appealing concept and functionality, particularly for those with multiple device usage scenarios, the buggy software and performance inConsistencies limit its effectiveness. With some dedicated effort toward software stability, it could evolve into a highly sought-after product for tech-savvy users. **
