Nutritionist's Take
DIGEST PLUS Foaming Drain Cleaner and Odor Eliminator is not a food product but rather a cleaning agent designed to address plumbing issues and odors. Nutritionists typically do not evaluate such products as they focus on food and dietary supplements. However, it's crucial to note that if any residues of cleaning agents are left in food preparation areas, they can pose health risks. Users should ensure thorough rinsing and avoid any cross-contact with food items. This product may contain enzymes designed to break down organic materials, but the safety of ingredients and toxicity levels should be checked. Therefore, it is vital for consumers to read ingredient labels carefully, ensuring the product is suitable for their domestic environment. Overall, this product is not something a nutritionist would endorse for health, as its primary use is not related to dietary needs.
Questspecialty Corporation Drain Openers 2040-2 Editorial Review
The DIGEST PLUS Foaming Drain Cleaner and Odor Eliminator has garnered a mixed reception from customers regarding its performance and usability. Many users appreciate its powerful foaming action and the effectiveness in eliminating odors from their drains. Several reviewers noted that using this product on a monthly basis has significantly improved the smell coming from their shower drains, reflecting its ability to maintain cleanliness over time. However, there are noticeable frustrations associated with the application process. Customers pointed out that the applicator tube lacks flexibility, making it challenging to navigate narrow or small drains. This has led some users to feel that while the product does a great job at cleaning, it may not reach far enough into the plumbing system to tackle deeper sources of odors effectively. Additionally, a few reviewers mentioned that the strong minty scent seemed to temporarily mask odors rather than eliminate the underlying causes, raising concerns about its long-term efficacy. Overall, the DIGEST PLUS cleaner is appreciated for its usability in larger drains and for maintaining freshness; yet, potential buyers should be aware of its limitations with smaller fixtures and the applicator design. **
