Modernist Pantry Postal Scales Editorial Review
The High-Precision Molecular Gastronomy Scale offers good accuracy and is compact and lightweight. Some users have found that the scale does not register weights under 1 gram, but this can be improved by calibrating it with a 500g weight. Overall, it is reliable, sensitive, and accurate, especially compared to other scales on the market. However, there are some negative reviews mentioning issues with accuracy, such as the scale maxing out at lower weights than expected and showing inconsistencies in measurements. The scale also arrived damaged for one customer, causing disappointment. Despite these drawbacks, the scale is praised for its quality and small size, making it suitable for measuring cosmetic ingredients as well. The competitive price and fast shipping are also advantages.
