The Lodge Seasoned Cast Iron 11 Square Griddle is an excellent addition to any chef's kitchen or camping supplies. It is pre-seasoned, made in the USA, non-stick, and oven-safe up to 500 degrees. The griddle delivers even heating and great browning, especially when cooking grilled sandwiches, pancakes or vegetables. The sides are high, preventing the food from sliding off while flipping it over. The downside is that it is exceptionally bulky and retains heat long after cooking, so caution must be taken. The heavyweight might require a silicone handle wrap while cooking. However, the cast iron's quality makes Lodge's products very durable and easy to clean, and with proper care, they will last a lifetime and even be passed down due to the durability.
