It comes with the Northern Chrome disc with 4.1 million stars and has additional discs that are sold separately. The projector has many features like rotation, meteor, and intensity. The focus wheel allows for a very clear and stunning visual of the stars. The projector requires a dark room for the best experience. While it is an expensive product, many buyers feel it is worth it as it exceeds all expectations. Some customers have also compared it to the Sega Homestar Flux which is half the price but believe that the quality of the DS-1 is superior. However, one customer has mentioned that the projection on the ceiling is blurry.
