The Skip Hop Straw Cup, Toddler Transition Sippy Cup, Monkey is a BPA-free cup that is great for toddlers. The straw has no valve, making it easy for young children to drink from. It is relatively light, even when full of water and is easy to clean in a dishwasher. However, some customers have experienced leaking issues with this cup. It does not do well on airplanes as the pressure causes the water to spurt out of the straw. Additionally, the milk may come back up through the straw and run down the side of the bottle if the child stops drinking, and it can also leak if the child shakes it. There's also a tiny hole on the top that makes the cup leak if it's open. On the positive side, customers love the cute monkey design and the fact that the cup is easy for their children to use. Some reviewers like that it comes with an extra straw, but others feel that it is not enough. A few customers have reported that the straw gets stuck and ripped off with the closing flip-top. Lastly, some customers are disappointed that the new design is bigger than the original and the cup they received is pink, not red as they were expecting.
