PerTronix MA-141 Ignitor Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit, Compatible with Mazda 4 Cylinder
### Editorial Review The Pertronix MA-141 Mazda 4 Cylinder Ignitor has garnered a mixed reception from customers, showcasing both appreciation for its performance improvements and frustration over its longevity. Many users express relief at no longer dealing with traditional points, appreciating the smoother operation and easier starts that the ignitor provides. Its design is praised for having no physical contact with the points cam, which eliminates certain mechanical failures associated with older systems. However, the product faces criticism regarding its durability. Several reviews mention that the ignitor tends to fail after a relatively short period of use, typically around one to four years. While some users were satisfied enough to purchase a second unit, others felt disappointed by its lifespan and described it as "JUNK." They expressed that the ignitor turned out to be less reliable than anticipated, with recurring issues leading to frequent replacements. Overall, the Pertronix MA-141 ignitor delivers noticeable performance benefits for users looking to modernize their ignition systems, but potential buyers should be wary of its durability, as repeated failures have been reported. ### Pros and Cons **
